Aitken Spence companies recognised at the TAGS awards by CA Sri Lanka
The annual report of Aitken Spence PLC presented under the theme ‘The Power to Inspire’ won the ‘Silver’ award under the Diversified Holdings (Group Turnover Up to 100bn) at the 59th TAGS Awards 2024 (Transparency, Accountability, Governance, and Sustainability), organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka). The Company received certificate recognitions for corporate governance disclosure - non-financial services, sustainability reporting and integrated reporting.
The annual report of Aitken Spence Hotel Holdings PLC presented under the theme ‘Unforgettable: People, Connections and Memories’, once again won the ‘Gold’ award in the Hotel Sector category. This is the fifth consecutive year that Aitken Spence Hotels won this award.
The annual report themed ‘A Journey of Biodiversification’, of Elpitiya Plantations PLC managed by Aitken Spence Plantation Managements PLC won the ‘Bronze’ award under the Plantations Sector category (Group Turnover above 5bn) with a certificate recognition for sustainability reporting.
