As early adopters of sustainability across all business operations, we align with a comprehensive sustainability framework that helps us maintain the long-term viability, profitability and integrity of Aitken Spence through the identification, management and control of our social, environmental and economic impact.

Guided by relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals, we are led by a sustainability team representing all strategic business units across the Group. Our organic adoption of a sustainable work culture and voluntary commitment to standards such as the UN Global Compact and Women’s Empowerment Principles won us Sri Lanka’s Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Award for three consecutive years. We also became the only company to have been ranked as Top 10 Corporate Citizens for an unprecedented 15 consecutive years in Sri Lanka.
