Aitken Spence Group Celebrates Multiple Wins at the TAGS Annual Report Awards 2025

Demonstrating continued excellence in corporate reporting, the annual reports of Aitken Spence PLC and its group of companies were recognised at the Diamond Chapter of the TAGS Awards 2025 (Transparency, Accountability, Governance and Sustainability), organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) on 12 February 2026. Aitken Spence PLC and Aitken Spence Hotel Holdings PLC received Gold Awards, while Elpitiya Plantations PLC was awarded the Bronze in their respective categories. Aitken Spence PLC was also recognised among the overall Top Ten Annual Reports at the TAGS Awards.

The annual report of Aitken Spence PLC, presented under the theme, “A Legacy in Action, Navigating the Future”, received the Gold Award in the Diversified Holdings Category (Group Turnover Upto LKR 100 Bn), reflecting the Group’s commitment to transparent, balanced, and forward-looking reporting, with Certificates of Recognition for Corporate Governance (non-financial services), Digital Transformative Reporting, Integrated Reporting and Sustainability Reporting.

Aitken Spence Hotel Holdings PLC, with its annual report themed, “A Timeless Legacy, Touching Lives”, won the Gold Award in the Hotel Companies Category (Group Assets Above LKR 10 Bn), marking its sixth consecutive year of recognition and reaffirming its consistent excellence in sector reporting.

The annual report of Elpitiya Plantations PLC, presented under the theme “Transformative Evolution”, earned the Bronze Award in the Plantation Companies Category (Group Turnover Above LKR 5 Bn), together with a Certificate of Recognition for Sustainability Reporting, highlighting the company’s ongoing commitment to responsible and transparent disclosures.
