Employee welfare

Aitken Spence operates two apparel manufacturing facilities with working conditions and business practices meeting the highest ethical standards. We provide livelihoods to over 1,400 individuals in non-metropolitan communities, enhancing their living standards and empowering them to be active contributors to the local economy.

Certified as a Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) company for compliance on labour and safety practices, we conform to laws prohibiting child labour, forced labour, discrimination among many other regulations, ensuring employee welfare within and outside the workplace. The apparel business also significantly contributes to the higher proportion of empowered female employees across the Aitken Spence Group.
