Aitken Spence is deeply committed to elevating the social and economic standards of our communities, empowering them to increase control over their lives livelihoods. We provide direct income to over 5,000 people living across 13 estate communities that are known to be among the most impoverished in the country.
We collaborate with local authorities, NGOs and other international agencies to empower our estate communities through education, capacity building, infrastructure development, access to better healthcare, clean water and sanitation to improve community wellbeing. We channel significant funds towards community initiatives with special focus on marginalized children, adolescent girls and women.
